Smoothie recipes for your soup maker
Soup makers aren't just for the colder months. Did you know that our soup makers are super versatile and can prepare delicious smoothies? If you need some inspiration, we've got some delicious recipes to get you started.
Raspberry Smoothie
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Mixing time: 2 minutes
Setting: Drinks
Ingredients:
- 600g low fat raspberry yogurt
- 200ml semi skimmed milk
- 200g raspberries (allow to thaw if frozen)
Method:
Step 1: Place ingredients in the Sauté & Soup Compact Soup Maker and stir with a wooden spoon.
Step 2: Select Smoothie / Blend setting and then press and hold the Start / Stop Button until of the desired consistency.
Step 3: Serve immediately.
Strawberry and Pineapple Smoothie
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Mixing time: 2 minutes
Setting: Drinks
Ingredients:
- 275g strawberries
- 225g fresh pineapple, peeled
- 400g low fat strawberry yogurt
- 100ml semi skimmed milk
- 20g vanilla ice cream
Method:
Step 1: Prepare and hull the strawberries, cut any large ones into quarters.
Chocolate Banana Smoothie
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Mixing time: 2 minutes
Setting: Drinks
Ingredients:
- 600g low fat vanilla yogurt
- 200ml semi skimmed milk
- 150g ripe bananas, peeled and sliced thinly
- 80g good quality dark chocolate
Method:
Step 1: Melt the chocolate in either a microwave or over a pan of hot water.
Step 2: Add the ingredients to the Soup Maker, adding the melted chocolate last. Stir with a wooden spoon.
Step 3: Select Drinks setting and then serve immediately
Blueberry Breakfast Smoothie
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Blending Time: 20-40 seconds
Makes: 1.5L
Ingredients:
- 2 x 450g cartons blueberry
- and elderberry yogurt
- 450ml semi skimmed milk
- 50g rolled oats
- 50g blueberries
Method:
Step 1: Place the ingredients into the Jug and stir with a wooden spoon.
Step 2: Place the Lid on the Jug and press and hold the Smoothie / Blend Button.
Step 3: When ready, serve immediately.
