Just remove the lid, add 800 ml of water and a small amount of washing up liquid and press the ‘clean’ button. A mere four minutes later, you have a marvellously clean soup maker!

Remove the lid whilst it’s in operation and the heating function will automatically deactivate (don’t worry, it’ll start again once you replace the lid).
