Smoky Sweet Potato and Carrot Soup

There's nothing quite like a big bowl of fresh, hot, nutritious homemade soup to warm you up on a chilly winter's night. Soup is a great way to use up any leftover veggies whilst enjoying a satisfying and filling meal. 

Prep time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 19 minutes
Serves: two

Ingredients:

  • 3 small sweet potatoes (or 2 medium size)
  • 3 small carrots 
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic granules (or a clove of fresh)
  • 1 vegetable stock pot
  • Hot water 
  • Optional: chilli flakes for spice

Method:

Step 1: Peel (optional) and chop your vegetables into bite-sized chunks

Step 2: Add them to your soup maker with the paprika, garlic, and stock pot

Step 3: Pour in hot water in between the min. and max. lines 

Step 4: Add on your lid and select the smooth function

Step 5: After only 19 minutes you're ready to serve up with a buttered crusty slice of bread and even a sprinkle of cheddar, if you wish
