Soup Maker Egg Drop Soup

  • 700ml Chicken Stock
  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 TBSP White Pepper
  • Cornstarch slurry (3 Tbsp cornstarch + 4 Tbsp water)
  • 3/4 Eggs mixed w/ 1 Tbsp Water
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil


Step 1: Add all the ingredients other than the Eggs and Sesame Oil to the Soup Maker
Step 2: Stir and set the Soup Maker to ‘smooth’ and leave for 21 minutes
Step 3: Meanwhile, crack the Eggs into a jug and whisk with 1Tbsp of Water
Step 4: Once the Soup Maker has finished, stir the soup to create a vortex
Step 5: Slowly and steadily pour the Eggs in
Step 6: Add some Sesame Oil and then serve in bowls
Step 7: Garnish with some sliced Spring Onion
Step 8: Enjoy!
