The Morphy Richards MRXSTICKPRO Cordless Stick Vacuum is quite compact and convenient. The unit stores away very neatly and fits easily onto the docking station, meaning there’s no need for any permanent wall attachments. It connects to the self-emptying chamber, which is also compact in size. The tools are also stored on the docking station, so they’re always easily accessible. 

You also get a crevice tool, along with a 2-in-1 dusting and upholstery brush. It works really well and is very manoeuvrable. The vacuum comes with two rollers. One for hard floor and one for carpets, both are very easy to change at the click of a button. 

The self-empty feature is incredible for leaving the filter and canister pristine! This will in turn keep the suction of the vacuum strong, minimising the need to deep clean the filters as often. The dirt is stored away into a bag for easy disposal and no dust cloud. Perfect if you have allergies.  

Let’s start with the weight. Upright vacuums are often bulky and awkward to carry, not this one! The Power Light Stretch is so lightweight, it’s easy to lift and you can glide from room to room (or up the stairs) with ease. The 9-meter cable was impressive too!  

Boasting a 700-watt motor, this is pretty much the same as some competitor vacuums which have a much higher price tag. It might be light, but it doesn’t mess around. The suction is strong and consistent across carpets, hard floors and everything in between. On hard floors, you certainly feel the suction to the floor. The adjustable floor head makes it easy to push over even the thickest of carpets, including my shaggy rug!  

The stretch hose is a standout. It’s long enough that I don’t need to constantly move the whole machine. I can get right into corners, under furniture, up high and even on stairs without hassle. That makes a massive difference when you’re working efficiently. 

One of the small details that I really appreciate? All the attachments are neatly prepared, and all are stored on board the vacuum. No chance of losing any!
