Spicy Pumpkin & Ginger Soup In The Soup Maker

This Spicy Pumpkin & Ginger Soup is so tasty because the sweetness of the pumpkin pairs perfectly with the warmth of ginger, creating a rich and comforting flavour. Using a Morphy Richards soup maker makes it an easy pumpkin soup recipe, blending everything smoothly while enhancing the delicious spices. It's the perfect twist on classic pumpkin soup, with just the right kick of heat!

Cook time: 20 minutes
Serves: 4 

Ingredients: 

  • 2 tsp of curry powder
  • 1 ginger 
  • 1 cooked pumpkin 
  • 1 onion
  • 1 chicken or vegetable stock pot or cube and water 
  • 2 cloves garlic 

Method: 

Step 1: Scoop out the seeds and brush the flesh, then roast in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes. Once the pumpkin has cooled, gently peel away the skin to reveal the tender, flavourful flesh. 

Step 2: Place all the ingredients into the soup maker, then pour in some hot water. Set the soup maker to the smooth setting, and let it work its magic. 

Step 3: Once the soup maker has finished, just pour the soup into bowls and enjoy!
