This lentil soup can be made by using a Morphy Richards Soup Maker and it is so delicious because it blends simple but wholesome ingredients with rich flavours. This traditional lentil soup recipe includes earthy lentils, aromatic vegetables, and warming spices. Following a lentil soup recipe helps create a hearty and nutritious dish that’s both satisfying and delicious.

Serves: 4
Ingredients:
- 750ml vegetable or ham stock
- 75g red lentils
- 3 carrots
- 1 medium leek, (150g)
- small handful chopped parsley, to serve
Method:
Step 1: Add the stock, lentils, carrots, and leek to the soup maker, then select the ‘chunky soup’ function. Be sure not to exceed the maximum fill line. The soup may look slightly foamy at first, but don’t worry – this will settle once it’s cooked.
Step 2: Once the cycle is complete, check that the lentils are tender and season to taste. Sprinkle fresh parsley over the top before serving.
