Prep time: 10 mins
Cook time: 24-49 mins
Serves: 2-4

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp sweet smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • ½ tbsp garlic granules
  • 50g plain flour
  • 200g buttermilk (195ml)
  • 1 medium cauliflower (around 750g), remove leaves and cut into florets
  • 100g hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp honey

Method:

Step 1: Get ready for some flavour explosion! In a bowl, combine paprika, cumin, garlic granules, flour, buttermilk, and a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper. Give it a good mix until you have a smooth, delightful batter. Now, toss in those cauliflower florets and coat them thoroughly.

Step 2: Time to work that Air Fryer magic! Lay out the cauliflower florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Shake off any excess batter (if you can resist sneaking a taste) and start cooking. Depending on the size of your basket, you might need to cook in batches. Set the temperature to 200C and let it work its crispy wonders for 18-20 mins. Don't forget to flip halfway through. When they turn beautifully browned at the edges, you'll know they're ready.

Step 3: While waiting for batch number two (if you need it), let's kick up the heat a notch! Grab a big bowl and combine hot sauce, olive oil, and honey (if you fancy a touch of sweetness). Now, add your cooked cauliflower and let it soak up all that saucy goodness. Give it a gentle toss to make sure it's coated evenly. Finally, gather up all that mouthwatering cauliflower and add it back to the air fryer basket. Cook for an additional 6-9 mins until it's hot, crispy, and cooked to perfection.
