Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate

Prep time: 5 mins 
Cook time: 2 hrs & 15 mins - 3 hrs & 20 mins 
Serves: 8-10 


  • 1L Milk
  • 300ml double cream
  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped 
  • 100g milk chocolate, chopped 
  • Toasted marshmallows, to serve 
  • Whipped cream, to serve 
  • grated chocolate, to serve 


Step 1: Pour the milk and double cream into the slow cooker and then add the dark and milk chocolate. Cover with lid and cook on low for 2 hrs, stirring halfway through. 

Step 2: Remove the lid and stir again, then continue to cook for a further 15-20 minutes. Ladle into mugs and top with the marshmallows, whipped cream and grated chocolate.
