Mustard Champ | St. Patricks Day Recipes

  • 1kg potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 200ml milk
  • 50g butter
  • 1-2tsp wholegrain mustard
  • 2 bunches of spring onion, washed and sliced


Step 1: Start by adding your potatoes to a large pan and then bringing to the boil for around 15 minutes or until tender. Drain them and then mash until smooth.

Step 2: In a smaller pan, heat the milk and butter. Once the butter has melted, beat into your mash, along with the mustard.

Step 3: In the smaller pan, gently fry the spring onions with a little butter for about 2 minutes or until just soft. Fold until the mash and serve.
