Ingredients:
- 1kg chicken wings 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 6 tbsp cranberry sauce
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 garlic cloves crushed
- 2 tsp ginger paste or freshly grated ginger
- 2 tsp vegetable oil
Method:
Step 1: Dry the chicken wings thoroughly with a clean tea towel or kitchen paper to help them crisp up perfectly. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C. In a small bowl or jug, mix together the soy sauce, cranberry sauce, oregano, garlic, ginger, and vegetable oil until well combined. Place the chicken wings in a large bowl and drizzle the flavorful cranberry mixture over them, ensuring they’re well coated.
Step 2: Give everything a good toss to ensure the chicken wings are thoroughly coated in the rich, flavourful marinade. If you’re preparing ahead, the uncooked wings can be frozen in an airtight container for up to three months. When ready to cook, place the wings into the air fryer basket and cook for 15-20 minutes at 200°C (or 20-25 minutes at 180°C if cooking from frozen), turning halfway through. The wings should be fully cooked and beautifully golden at the edges. Depending on your air fryer size, you might need to cook them in two batches for the best results.
