Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 1 hour 15 minutes
Serves:

Ingredients:

350g macaroni pasta
600ml whole milk
50g butter
50g soft cheese
100g mature cheddar, plus extra to serve
20g parmesan, plus extra to serve

Method:

Step 1: Pour boiling water over the pasta, then drain. Transfer everything into a slow cooker and stir well. Season, cover, and cook on low for 1 hour. Stir again, cover, and cook for an additional 30 minutes until the pasta is fully cooked and the sauce has thickened enough to coat the macaroni.

Step 2: Leave the lid off for the last 10 minutes to reduce the sauce, or add a splash of extra milk – this may vary depending on the size and brand of your slow cooker. Serve with extra cheese.
