Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 21 minutes
Makes: 4
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon creole seasoning (optional)
- 8 pieces of bacon
- 4 slices cheese (your favorite)
Method:
Step 1: In a large bowl, season the ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and a touch of creole seasoning if you like a bit of extra kick. Mix everything together until the flavours are evenly distributed, then shape the mixture into 4 patties, each about 1/4 inch thick. Lightly sprinkle a bit more salt on the patties and let them chill in the refrigerator while you cook the bacon.
Step 2: Cook your bacon in the air fryer at 400°F for 9 minutes, 4 pieces at a time. Once the bacon is perfectly crispy, drain any excess grease on a paper towel.
Step 3: Place your burger patties in the air fryer. Set the temperature to 360°F and cook for 8 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 3 minutes. For that perfect melt, you can add the cheese now, or wait until the patties are done to top them with cheese. Once they’re cooked to perfection, assemble your burger, and savour every delicious bite!
