How To Make Pesto Pasta

Wanting to indulge in something full of flavour? Our pesto pasta is made with a rich and delicious homemade pesto sauce. This easy pesto pasta recipe is perfect for a quick midweek dinner or a simple but tasty lunch when you’re working from home.
Ingredients:
Pesto

80g basil
-
50g parmesan
-
50g pine nuts
-
150ml olive oil
-
2 garlic cloves
-
Pinch of salt
Pasta

80 - 100g dried pasta, per person
Method:
Step 1: To make the pesto, cut the garlic cloves into pieces less than 3cm wide. Then, using the Morphy Richards Rechargeable Multifunction 3-in-1 Mini Food Chopper, add all the ingredients into the glass bowl and press the on/off button 3 to 4 times, then push continuously for 5 to 20 seconds until you achieve the desired consistency for the pesto.
Step 2: To cook the pasta, boil the water using a Morphy Richards Saucepan. Once the water has boiled, pop the pasta in the saucepan and cook for 12 minutes. Once cooked, drain the pasta.
Step 3: Using the Morphy Richards Recycled Aluminium Frying Pan, heat the pesto sauce, then add the pasta and stir until evenly coated.
Step 4: Transfer into your pasha dish and enjoy!
