Fluffy Pancakes

Ever fancy fluffy pancakes for a weekend breakfast? This homemade pancake recipe is the ultimate morning treat, they are topped with blueberries and honey for extra sweetness. They’re perfect for enjoying breakfast in bed. 

Ingredients: 

  • 300g self raising flour 

  • 1 tsp baking powder 

  • 1 tbsp caster sugar 

  • 2 medium eggs 

  • 300ml milk 

  • 1 tbp honey, and more to serve 

  • Sunflower oil & butter, for cooking 

  • Blueberries, to serve 

Method: 

Step 1: Using the Morphy Richards Whisk, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar and a sprinkle of salt into a large bowl and mix. Then, add the eggs and whisk until you have a smooth batter. Add in the milk and honey while whisking. 

Step 2: Using the Morphy Richards Frying Pan, pour oil into the pan over a high heat and add the butter until it is sizzling hot. Spoon the batter onto the frying pan, you can make them as small or as big as you like. Cook until the bubbles are on top of the surface and then flip the pancakes on the other side using the Morphy Richards Solid Turner

Step 3: Once cooked, transfer the pancakes onto your plate and serve with blueberries and drizzle with honey and enjoy!
