Rated 5 out of 5 by HJar from Perfect - Does just the job! Ummed and argghed about which slow cooker to buy as there are so many on the market. Ended up choosing this and haven't been disappointed. Used it a few times now and can't really fault it. Easy to clean and seems to work well. There are only 2 of us and this 3.5l is plenty big enough for 2 people. I read reviews online about peoples opinions on what size to get - i.e 3.5l v 6l. Bear in mind in the instructions for this cooker it recommends the cooker to be at least half full for best results. A 6l cooker for 2 people would be just way to big. This cooker will comfortable cook a meal for 4. All in all happy with the purchase and would recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Katelikeshomemadefood from So easy to use! I bought this as it was on a special offer price and my old slow cooker had given up! It's a really nice size for making meals for up to 4 people. I love that the pot is aluminium and can be used on the hob to sear the meat, so no need for washing up frying pans! This also makes the pot really lightweight so you can lift it easily (using oven gloves) and tilt it to get to those last bits of meat and sauce. Non-stick so easy to clean. The controls are also dead easy, basically, High, Medium, Low. What's not to understand?! Total game-changer for me after years of using a huge heavy ceramic crock-pot slow cooker. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nadia from Excellent Price, Excellent Quality, Happy Cooking My first slow cooker purchase, so I did a lot of research beforehand. I made a Bolognese in this and it came out perfect, so much so that my little boy ate it and he isn't normally a fan of the texture of mince. Second dish was with diced chicken breast. Again it does what it says on the tin. Made a mistake with the beef stew, and chose a lean diced steak. Meat didn't fall apart but it was user error. Yesterday did a whole roast chicken and potatoes. Excellent! Juicy and soft, stock high quality. Pot cleans up well and lid seals steam in really well. Shame this doesn't have a delay timer though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TreborW from Great price and so easy to use We bought this slow cooker after eating a madras curry that friends of ours had cooked in theirs and being amazed at how tender the slow cooking process made the meat. It is a great size in that you can cook for the family and friends, but it is compact enough to store well. Having said that it is good looking enough to store on the worktop! I had expected it to be a far more expensive kitchen addition than it was – I feel it represents great value. The recipe booklet has some great ideas and I love that we can prep a meal, go out for the day and have a tasty hot dish to come home to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cookerymad from Love it. Best Kitchen appliance ever. I took delivery of my new Red Sear and Stew slow cooker yesterday . I bought it to replace my old Sear and Stew which has been used every week since I bought it in 2014. It is still working but looking a little tired so I am keeping it as a spare. I have cooked everything from soups to chocolate cake in it. And it is so cheap to run. I even won a recipe contest for a slow cooker ragu using it. Even though we are retired now we still put all our ingredients in , in the morning and get on with our day knowing that there will be a delicious hot and nutritious meal ready when we are.

Rated 4 out of 5 by AnnieBob from Great buy! I bought this item after reading many good reviews online. I am impressed with the design and colour, the sear option is a great one. I have awarded four stars purely because a) the pot gets really hot when on the stove using it to sear meat, so could do with a heat resistant handle and b) the lid doesn't sit firmly on the top of the pot (though it does seal), it's more that I fear I am going to drop the lid and not be able to easily buy a replacement therefore rendering the whole unit unusable. Those two issues dealt with and I would give it 5 stars without a doubt!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Frankland from Light and Easy. I was so lucky to be given my Sear and Stew by a lovely friend. Such a clever idea to sear in the same pot, all those lovely go into your meal and when you come to wash up the clever surface just lets everything slide off! Even when the dish is full the handles allow a good grip and feel secure. The nob on the lid keeps your fingers away from the heat of the lid. A good compact design which doesn't mean it's small. I love the colour which is well represented on your website and the finish is robust. I am looking at my friends for someone I can buy one for very soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great value I bought this yesterday having started of my cooking in a Russell Hobbs slow cooker which failed. Never mind no bother I just popped down to Currys and bought this one. Perfect size shape and weight. Very well priced and looks great in my kitchen. Lunch was saved. The only thing I wish I had looked on the web sight first as 10% off on line. Never mind I was in the middle of cooking so needed it immediately. this would not have been my first choice had I looked online prob would have gone for previous make Russell Hobbs so just as well I had to go shop in the store.
