Rated 4 out of 5 by steliz from Innovative idea I’ve been using this item for a few weeks now, and at first I was a little skeptical. But I’m now a convert, and would routinely use it instead of a pan or using the oven for jacket potato’s. The small pot is used for eggs and frozen burgers, the latter of which it cooks perfectly. The eggs are good but because of the way it works there is no soft yoke. Jacket potatoes are great just like if you’d done them in the oven. All in all a nice versatile way to cook if you don’t want to use the oven or job. The manual could be improved as it’s a fold out one and it’s not all that easy to find the cooking times or a definitive list of what you can cook in it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Amy90 from Nice and compact I’ve been using his for about a month now, trying different things to see what works best. This morning I cracked a couple of eggs straight into it, added a few spices, a quick mix and in 2 mins I had two beautiful light and fluffy souffléd eggs. No other pots and pans required, so less washing! Definitely a really good buy for someone like me who is trying to be healthy and lose a little weight. The only downside is, that you will need to figure out the timings for each thing you’re trying to make. But once you’ve mastered that there’s no stopping you! Love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by NoddyF1 from Fantastic idea This is a great little device for cooking eggs in a microwave that don’t taste like eggs cooked in the microwave! (I haven’t tried burgers yet). You may need to increase the cooking time a little from the instructions (especially if you don’t want runny yolks) and as I have a built in combination microwave I use the device on a plate or other microwave safe flat tray to avoid putting directly on the wire racks and make sure it’s on Microwave Only mode else you will melt your Mico! Tried baked potatoes once so far and will need more practice (I think they were a little large for the pot) as they didn’t come out as expected, but will retry again. Overall very pleased but the instructions I feel could add more cooking time or be slightly more specific regarding weights of items to cook to allow time adjustements.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Chrimmybarn from Adequate I’m a very disappointed in this. For jacket potatoes it is a slight improvement on simply microwaving (not difficult!) - the skins get browned if in contact with the metal but not at all crispy. Tried a burger which was more ‘steamed’ than anything else and only tasted ok. Where another reviewer finds frozen quarter pound burgers that fit the indentations I’d love to know - the one pictured is a famous brand - couldn’t really take a tape measure. Eggs were ‘odd’. An expensive way to have a quick, small, cooked but far from exciting potato. ☹️

Rated 5 out of 5 by iampav from Handy pot! I've been using this for a few weeks now, mostly for the small pot. It's incredibly handy for burgers and eggs, saving taking out larger frying pans etc. In under three minutes, eggs are well cooked and a nice consistency, with a slight crisp finish. Burgers take a bit longer with two frozen quarter pounders cooked in about 8 minutes, nicely browned and cooked through. The saving for me is on taking out say a griddle pan. Unfortunately I only have one and if you use it twice it does need to be rested. This is fine for making say 4 burgers or 4 eggs and would be plenty for a couple, but is a stretch for a family. Looking forward to trying the larger pot with a jacket potato. This really comes into its own for snacks eg egg on toast. Washing is simple too - it goes into our daily (at the moment!) dishwasher cycle and comes out spotless. All in all, well worth a buy. But consider if you need two!

Rated 4 out of 5 by LukeEgg from Great middle ground between Microwave and Oven We have been using this for about 3 weeks now, and is a great middle ground between an Oven and a microwave. We have mainly used for baked potatoes, and although this doesn't help cook the potato any quicker, the end result has some of that nice crispy skin you'd expect from an oven. The pot itself is really durable, and is designed well to avoid burning.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Neils1961 from Not very good When I tried it I didn't really find it any batter than how I usually make food in the microwave & this product cost a lot more than the product I usually did. Also Morphy Richards customer service is terrible. I sent two messages about this on their website & have never received any response at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bee10 from Fluffy jacket potatoes We have been using the MICO Multipot for a few weeks. This product is ideal for smaller households or those with limited cooking facilities. Unlike our previous method of part microwave part oven cook for a jacket potato this prevented the potato from drying out therefore leaving it with a really fluffy texture.
