As it says on the tin - the coated baking pan provides you with protection of non-stick so you can be certain that the bread will be easily removed once it has been baked.
Baking can be a complex process as ingredient measurements have to be exact. With a Morphy Richards bread maker there is no need for weighing your ingredients; as the exact measuring tools are provided for the job - no more risks of over risen or sunk bread.
Delay Start Timer
The timer delay gives you the flexibility to bake your bread overnight ready for the morning rush. Simply insert all your ingredients before you go to bed, programme the machine and wake up to the smell of freshly baked bread.
The easy view window enables you to monitor the progress of your loaf throughout the baking process, removing the temptation to open the lid during baking.
If you are stuck for recipe inspiration your instruction booklet includes delicious recipes that are easy to follow; giving you a simple guide to making different breads, doughs, jams and cakes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by drjw from The display for the controls has rubbed off The breadmaker is ok. It's not as great as my last Morphy Richards. The kneader thing is supposed to flop down after kneading so it doesn't make a hole in the bread, that happens sometimes, other times I'm using the tool to remove it from the baked bread. Made jam in it, that was good. Gluten free bread, which is why I got this model, just wouldn't produce an edible result. I'm now finding after having it nearly 2 years, and normal use, cleaning etc, the white paint that indicates what control is what (which you have to jab at to make them work) has rubbed off. Morphy Richards reply was "It's normal wear and tear" Not happy. I'm going to another brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Spudders from Fantastic bread everytime We’ve had this bread maker a couple of years now and it has stood up very well to the rest of time. We get a perfect loaf every time, we’ve not had a single one that didn’t rise. You can easily make bread rolls to that taste as good as a bakers with little effort It’s very easy to use and clean. The instruction booklet that comes with it is very easy to follow and understand. It’s very easy to clean to. The timer function is easy to work out and lets us wake up to wonderful greasy bread The machine itself isn’t noisy and the walls stay cool enough to easily touch. It’s the best bread maker we have owned and would definitely buy it again

Rated 5 out of 5 by Annie222 from Good breadmaker The breadmaker is easy to use, one you know to leave the kneading blade in the upright position to aid mixing. I've made most of the bread recipes and cake (don't open the lid while the cake is baking). I used a gluten free bread mix which also worked well in the machine, I liked the blade remover tool. The measuring cup was useful though the markings could have been more distinct. The digital display was simple to follow. There is a small window so you can see if the bread is rising. The baking pan is easy to remove and clean. Overall a good product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by APB1 from Fast Bake and Home Bake are Rubbish Does not work after a few weeks. I have had Fast bake and Home bake Morphy Richards bread makers and they are all rubbish. They fail after a short while, bread fails to rise in all of their bread makers. Ask for help for their tech department and they are worse than useless. If you have money to spare buy their bread makers, if not spend more money and get something that will last longer. We have had five of their bread makers so far and apart from the original one which was a different model that they stopped the rest have been rubbish and most have been replacements. But what is the point of getting another replacement if they do not work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ginger56 from Neat and compact Makes delicious breads and jams. I haven't tried the yogurt setting yet but will be doing so soon. I like the digital display. Fits neat and tidily on the worktop. I do find the buttons on the top a little hard to operate but I do have arthritic fingers, so it may just be my wonky joints! I do think the buttons would be easier if they were on the front of the machine. However, I still think it is a great product and the addition of a hook to ease the bread blade out of the bottom of the loaf is really helpful.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Shiva Destroyer of Worlds from Not too bad I've had reasonable success with the bread maker, disappointed no timer for Gluten free setting (at first thought it was broken!)- it says the ingredients wouldn't cope but am not convinced - if I set it the night before then it will be ready too early and go all soggy which I think is worse. I've tried using a different setting - this seemed to help. I've also had better experience mixing the ingredients first as it sometimes cannot seem to manage mixing it itself fully, that is fairly annoying but i've coped with it. Might have rated it good if the thing didn't seem to unlock during baking sometimes!

Rated 2 out of 5 by helen51 from Not as good as it looks Really disappointed with this machine and have returned it to amazon today. the bread pan is thin and flimsy compared with my old one. the most unhelpful thing is the controls they are not positive at all and take several attempts to get the press buttons to respond. the pan also comes un locked during the programme. Not your usual quality. thrilled with your 48281 instead

Rated 3 out of 5 by Fife Lass from Struggling a bit A very neat machine, and instuctions clear. But, the paddle doesn’t stay up in the mixture before the baking starts, andnit is unclear whether ths is a fault or intended. Thus we have had varying success with baking so far, including one loaf where it was obvious that the paddle hadn’t lifted up and we had to fish about in the mixture to lift it into place.
