Rated 4 out of 5 by tungku from Light and easy to use. I have been trialling this iron for the last few weeks and I find it very easy to use. It's easy to fill and seems to hold a lot of water as I don't have to refill it as often as with other irons I've used. This is also reflected in the amount of steam it produces which provides ample means to remove creases. All in all, it's ergonomically pleasing, easy to use and store. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I absolutely hate ironing so I'm not sure I'll ever find an iron which I would give full marks to but it's certainly one of the best I have ever used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PF45 from Amazing Iron We have been using this iron since just before Christmas. Firstly the iron is well balanced and the handle is very comfortable in use, even when ironing a couple of loads of shirts. The cable is a little bit longer than the last two steam irons we have had which is brilliant. The sole plate warms up very quickly and just slides over everything. The filler jug is tall and fits comfortably in the hand with a long spout so you can pour directly into the iron without spilling. The steam is even and available almost instantly making ironing effortless.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Artemisprowl from Good all rounder I spent ages choosing between 3 models. All of which seemed good. However, this one had higher steam and a better soleplate. O. First iron it seems to perform well. Very little dripping, glided nicely, heated up quickly and not overly heavy. I like the colour but that is not a major feature. I got all the way through one lot of ironing with one tank of water. Only thing I felt annoying was the cord was not as long as I would have liked. My previous comfygrip had a longer cable. Good all round iron thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rose21 from Smooth Handler Spent ages looking for the right iron and found it in the Morphy Richards Comfigrip. It does feel comfortable to hold, which is a good thing for those like myself with athritic hands. Used it for the first time today and it just glided over a large duvet cover. Slightly heavier than my previous iron, which I thought would put me off, but no, when ironing it holds it's own and feels just right. Never thought I would find myself smiling when doing the ironing. Wish I had got it ages ago.

Rated 4 out of 5 by rod139 from Excellent value for money This iron was purchased to replace an aging Phillips steam iron and was immediately found to be superior to its predecessor. The iron is nice and light and irons very smoothly. The water capacity is excellent although it must be said it's not that easy to fill as the opening for the tank is not really big enough and the colour of the iron makes it difficult to see the water level. However, the steam function is very efficient. The steam switch was easy to use and quite ergonomic. Overall an excellent product for the money and with an extended warranty period.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from MORPHY RICHARDS COMFIGRIP IRON I bought this iron as a replacement for my last Morphy Richards iron that I purchased in 2013. This one is also great to use, its smooth and glides over the clothes, it is also nice to look at and a great colour. I always buy this brand because of the long guarantee, that in itself says that they believe in the quality of their product. The one and only downside to this model is the shorter length of the cord compared to my last one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kettle1965 from A pleasure to use I loved this iron as soon as I took it out of the box – it’s a good weight and has a nice wide heel for stability when rested on the ironing board. Ideally I would have liked the cable to be a little longer – I am quite tall and have my ironing board at its highest, when using the full length of the board for sheets it felt a bit short. I really like the illuminated temperature dial which makes it easy to see when the iron is at the right temperature. The switches and buttons are all easy to use. I like the ceramic sole – I’ve not used one before – and found it moved across fabric beautifully. My previous iron had a metal sole had become scratched and caught on delicate fabrics – hopefully this won’t happen with a ceramic sole. I've used it for dry ironing and constant steam and love the results. I 've not used the turbo steam or vertical steam functionality yet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SnPt from Definitely a comfi grip:) With its ceramic sole and comfortable handle, good sized water container this iron is easy to use and runs smoothly over any material. I find the iron a little heavy to hold but that is a small quibble and only an issue for me because I have arthritis - a family member who tried the iron had no issue at all. I am sure this iron will continue to give me the excellent service I expect from Morphy Richards.
