Rated 5 out of 5 by Momo from Fantastic iron My son bought this iron and I borrowed it when my own iron broke. I was very impressed with the Comfigrip iron that I went out the next day and bought one for myself. It looks heavy but in fact it is very light and glides over items with fantastic ease. The water tank has a wide opening and when you fill it nothing spills out. Being able to steam vertically the likes of new curtains etc is a big plus too. If I had any negative points about this iron, it would be that there was no jug for filling the tank but that is so insignificant it hardly warrants a mention. I would recommend this iron to everyone, it is certainly the best iron I have ever bought, and I am over the moon with it. Well done Morphy Richards.

She looked so neat and charming.. That I took her straight home you see. Dashing away with a smoothing iron Is this surely the one for me? Back and forth it easily flowed, This ironing chore a doddle for me! My linen pressed and suitably crisped For all the big wide world to see. Dashing away with a smoothing iron? YES! The Morphy/Richard Comfy Grip iron CERTAINLY does it for me Hope that suits? Lovely iron! Reviewed it , W.ent to see it , Was taken with it. Nice sleek form with attention to detail eg. rubber ridges on the base to prevent slippage. good size water tank , Constant steam if necessary, Three year guarantee totally Smart and Great performer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Queen from You glide the wind I hate ironing. Bought this yesterday. Did the ironing today.Great, easy to use it glided throu the clothes in half the time. Yes it used more water, but less time, so that's a bonus. Did not have to use any muscle power, it glided.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NiciD from It's quick! I'm always looking for my ideal iron, one with the right features, performance and weight. My search was an impossible one. We had a discount at Robert Dyas so took the plunge as this iron looked reasonably good. After a couple of months use I can happily say I'm not disappointed, in fact I'm impressed with the performance. It heats up quickly and the sole plate glides effortlessly across most fabrics removing creases easily. The filler is wide and is done with the iron flat, not like some where the iron is upright. If there's one thing missing its a clip on the cord to keep it tidy while stored, so i used the one off my old iron. Ironing is a chore but now I don't spend so long at it

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sleepy Hedgehog from Excellent Iron Had a bad experience the last time I bought a Morphy Richards, but glad I decided to give them another try. The iron isn't heavy and glides quite smoothly and takes out even some of the tougher creases. The only small quibble I have is there is no clip to keep the wire in place when wrapped around the handle - the plug is liable to fall to the floor when it unwinds quickly as I pick it up. It's quick, efficient, easy ironing - what more can you ask for from an iron.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Maxymac from An iron with great features! My husband bought me this iron for my birthday! (Yep, I know, but I did ask for one!) I had my last iron for years and went to the shop to choose a new one. With lots on offer, this iron had all the features I needed. I like the comfortable, ergonomic grip and large water filling capacity to make topping up the tank quick, and spill free. It gets up to temperature in super quick time too. As a keen sewer I especially like the fact that the steam is also emitted from the very front tip of the iron, making fiddly seams easy to press. The wide base on the back also means it can be safely placed down quickly, without worry of tipping over. It glides effortlessly across all the fabrics I've tried so far. It's the perfect iron for me!
