Rated 5 out of 5 by Gaz03 from Impressed! I wasn't sure whether to get the 3.5l or the 6.5l, I opted for the larger one for batch cooking. I also originally couldn't decide on which brand to get, but saw this one, and knew I could trust Morphy Richards. I have to say, I have not had it long, but so far I am very impressed. The sear features is definitely a bonus that other brands don't always offer, and the food is cook beautifully. I would recommend this product to anyone considering a slow cooker.

Rated 4 out of 5 by beev from The not so slow slow cooker.... Ok - so this is still a relatively recent (upgrade) purchase, but initial observations are mostly positive. It looks great, works well, and is easy to use/clean. How could it be improved - i would like to see silicon inlaid into the bowl handles (above and below) as you just know that one day you are going to lift this bowl at and burn yourself. Also, the "low" setting is what i would consider as high (vs my old morphy slow cooker). Need to investigate what i can do to get ssslllllooooowwwww!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Onigta from Perfectly BIG slow cooker We use slow cookers a lot and this is the third one that we had. I was slightly worried about going from a stoneware bowl to an aluminium one, but the result couldn't be better. The cooking heat is more evenly spread than the two previous slow cookers, the surface works better with meat that needs to be braised or browned first and the quality of the controls is greater. It is definitely easier to clean and the uniform shape of the bowl means that the wonderfully massive 6.5 litres are properly utilised (big family here). Both heat settings are higher than previous products which means that some of the tried and tested recipes have had their cooking time cut down by roughly a sixth or an eighth. I'm really happy with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by lynb from Versatile It's good to be able to do everything in one pot - fry off onions and meat, then add other ingredients. I liked the fact that there were three temperatures to cook at, so you could tailor the cooking time to when you wanted to eat. Though a large cooker, it copes well with smaller quantities, and leaving the lid off allows a sauce to thicken once a stew has cooked. It also looks stylish and is very easy to clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Satya from Cooking expert I bought this with so many doubts. Because I am not sure this thing helps in Indian cuisine.but I cooked lamb Britain and wow the dish was amazing just tastes like restaurant food.the meat is so tender and juicy I did not get that type of lamb texture after so many years of cooking.this slow cooker made me perfect cook.my children are my judges .my daughter does not like lamb actually but after tasting the lamb pieces she asked for more that'schinn really deserves fivestars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Karenp50 from Much Improved Design! We have always had a Morphy Richards slow cooker and we decided on the Sear and stew slow cooker this time around and WOW!! what an improvement in the design. Instead of the heavy ceramic inner bowl, Morphy Richards have replaced this with a much lighter and more durable bowl. The difference is absolutely amazing. No longer a heavy item to lift, especially when cleaning, and cleans so much easier! I would recommend this product and would never go back to the previous design This is a personal choice of course as both cookers cook absolutely brilliantly!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mother B from Excellent Product like this product because it's a sensible size for a family meal, it's easy to use and to clean. I made a slow cook Tuscan Bean soup and served it in the (good looking) inner bowl at the table - and there was enough room to do a decent size slow roast (but not at the same time!) for a family party. I like that I can just leave it to cook away all day without having to give it attention as I would cooking in the oven or on the stove top.

Rated 5 out of 5 by runner61 from Absolutely Brilliant I've had a couple of slow cookers over the years, but having one that you can sear the meet, fry the onions etc and then just add the liquid is great. it literary is one pot cooking made easy, and you can make huge batch of feed for family/friends and freezer in one go. Other slow cookers have a ceramic pot which is quite heavy to start with, but this one, even when full is pretty light. A great buy
