Rated 5 out of 5 by HJar from Perfect - Does just the job! Ummed and argghed about which slow cooker to buy as there are so many on the market. Ended up choosing this and haven't been disappointed. Used it a few times now and can't really fault it. Easy to clean and seems to work well. There are only 2 of us and this 3.5l is plenty big enough for 2 people. I read reviews online about peoples opinions on what size to get - i.e 3.5l v 6l. Bear in mind in the instructions for this cooker it recommends the cooker to be at least half full for best results. A 6l cooker for 2 people would be just way to big. This cooker will comfortable cook a meal for 4. All in all happy with the purchase and would recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TreborW from Great price and so easy to use We bought this slow cooker after eating a madras curry that friends of ours had cooked in theirs and being amazed at how tender the slow cooking process made the meat. It is a great size in that you can cook for the family and friends, but it is compact enough to store well. Having said that it is good looking enough to store on the worktop! I had expected it to be a far more expensive kitchen addition than it was – I feel it represents great value. The recipe booklet has some great ideas and I love that we can prep a meal, go out for the day and have a tasty hot dish to come home to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Richard33 from Dinner made simple - and cheap! Picked this up from Argos with Christmas money a couple of days ago. I've been looking at models online and chose this due to it being well priced, in red and from a reputable brand. Just finished cooking my first meal and really impressed. Very simple to use and does what it says it's supposed to. Says the inner bowl and lid are dishwasher safe so hope that's correct as a lot of pots and pans which say they are often only last a year before the non stick coating comes off. For the price though it wouldn't be too hard to buy another bowl as I can see these are available on the Morphy Richards website to buy. If you're looking for a cheap way to cook cheap meals with lots of flavour and very tender meat is recommend this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TheRev from Perfect Slow cooker We have had a 6.5ltr Morphy Richards slow cooker for over 10 years and it is still perfect and we still use it for feeding friends. However, now there are only two of us, the 3.5 ltr is perfect. We choose the sear and stew because my brother bought one and he recommended it. No need to seal the meat in a pan and transfer it to the slow cooker so you retain all the flavour in your food. A real plus is the cooking pot can go in the dishwasher. Looking forward to many years of convenient great tasting food and no hesitation in recommending this slow cooker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ychjn from Great cooker! This is the first slow cooker that I bought, and it really does a great job! I made goat bones yesterday. Usually I cooked with gas hob, and it took1.5 hours and the meat are still tough and very dry. But I tried with this slow cooker, and after 1.5hours, the meat are so well cooked, so tender, so juicy! Today, I cooked the belly pork with the slow cooker, after 2hrs, the result is delicious! It makes the cooking so easy and so economical. Really love this cooker. The only thing I regret is that I bought this small one, I should buy a bigger cooker!

Rated 4 out of 5 by YppoP1 from Searing meat first. What a great feature! Great idea to be able to sear the meat in the cooking pot first and then just add in the slow cooker ingredients straight afterwards. Gone are the days now of searing and splattering hot juices around the hob area using a frying pan. The cooking pot is nicely lightweight compared to ceramic ones but it takes a moment to think that you MUST hold it firmly and then pick it up using oven gloves after using it directly on your heated hob. Slow/low setting cook temperature ideal for all day cooking and very easy to clean any dried out food/liquid on the inside of the pot above the cooking level. Would be 5 stars definitely if the design did include a heat resisting handle or holding device. One for the design department to work on for the next model perhaps?

Rated 4 out of 5 by Magsbee from Classy for the money After having an unfortunate accident with my slow cooker I purchased this model. It is just the right size to feed 4 people comfortably. The product is very classy looking and performs well. It is so convenient to throw in your ingredients go about your business and come back to a beautifully cooked meal. I particularly like the fact that you can sear your meat on the hob. It certainly makes me look like a better cook than I am, it was also grea5 value for money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Smith49d from Easy to clean Having used a larger slow cooker thought this might be a bit small but easily cooked a lasagne, rice pudding and chicken curry using high and low settings and all cooked lovely. Very easy to clean even if left to the following morning it really is non stick. It is also quite lightweight. Only gave this 4 stars very minor thing for me the raised indicator on the dial does not stand out enough to show what setting it is on Overall impressed with this slow cooker.
