Rated 4 out of 5 by Het6 from Simple enough I have only just bought this and used it once but am pleased with it. The packaging was economical which was a good start. It's a surprisingly light product, even the cooking pot which stood up to searing the meat without sticking prior to stewing just fine. I used a recipe from the booklet and it fitted in the pot with lots of room to spare. When researching slow cookers I had thought of buying a larger capacity one but I'm pleased I didn't as the size is perfectly adequate for cooking for 6 and storing. It was very simple to use, after all there's just one knob to turn, and you control how long you cook for - there isn't a timer. Afterwards it washed up easily. I'm happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sarah4476 from Wouldn't be without it good looking too! I bought this to replace a very old one which I had unfortunately managed to smash the knob/control off. I was lost without it and was determined to buy Morphy Richards again as they were such a good brand. I was overwhelmed at the range of sizes and styles they come in now but decided to stick to 3.5l and that is perfect for 4 of us. I love how light weight it is compared to the old one and how non stick it is so that makes it so much easier to clean. Busy families definitely need this product! Also love the bigger knob on the front , (the older model was very fragile).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Colin5 from A novice could use this with delicious results Hi, this must be the best kitchen cooker I have purchased and all because of the reviews I have read, you can also sear on the hob with no extra pans to wash. I made a shin beef stew over night using a recipe from the booklet provided, the smell in the morning was amazing. I also tried the rice pudding, all so tasty and delicious and also simple to clean. I'm pleased i purchased this amazing slow cooker. Hope this helps you decide.

Rated 5 out of 5 by James M from Great, compact, efficient and stylish slow cooker As a first time user, I was pleased how easy it is to use this slow cooker. We have used it for searing and slow cooking different meats and cannot fault it - it's quick, efficient, the food has been great and the non-stick surface works perfectly, so it's easy to keep clean. The 3.5L capacity is plenty big enough to prepare food for 4 people. It's lightweight, compact and looks stylish so it's a welcome addition to our kitchen. I would happily recommend it to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by VJ71 from Couldn’t be easier Been without a slow cooker for a while so I’ve got straight back into it. It’s great having tips and hints, along with recipes in the instruction booklet. I like to taste test the first time, so I cook when I’m at home and then the second time it’s even better, and I can also just leave the cooker to do it’s own thing. I’ve added a picture of my version of paprika chicken. I particularly like the option to sear food in the pot prior to cooking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Barbywhodares from Excellent I purchased this slow cooker and am very pleased. The inner pan is easy to clean - oh boy that's a bonus - hate washing up. Plus the inner pan can be put on the stove for starting things off. My only complaint is polystyrene and too many plastic wrappings for the item. Don't need these - there are cardboard and paper alternatives. Please get with the program on this Morphy Richards - the item would have have a 5 star if you had.

Rated 5 out of 5 by philG from Big plus - searing pan option Tried a slow cooked chicken stew 8hr and a brisket of beef 6hr. Fried the chicken and veg 1st and Seared the beef with some onion 1st.This really does make life easy and save on the washing up. The searing pan is a bit lightweight but treat with respect (non scratch utensils and carefull cleaning it should last.) I like the 3 heat settings and so far the low setting has not dried anything up. Ok for two if you like good size portions!
