Rated 4 out of 5 by anncaz52 from Great features! I bought this slow cooker before Christmas to replace my old one (a different make and model) which was no longer working. I'm really pleased I chose this make and model. The capacity means I can cook a meal for 2 or a dish for a party, both of which I did over Christmas. The 3 heat settings are great. You can cook a meal on high in a couple of hours or put it on low and leave it all day. Once the food is in the cooker you can forget all about it until you're ready to eat, no worry about it burning or drying up. It's easy to clean as well, you can pop the lid and bowl into the dishwasher.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sibarbs69 from Great, hassle free family meals. Everything about this slow cooker makes it by far the best we have had. It looks great and goes perfectly with other appliances in our kitchen. It feels sturdy and really well made and even the control dial is positive and feels strong. Glass lid is great for seeing how things are cooking without having to take lid off and loosing heat. It is a great size too allowing us to regularly cook for a family of 4 and also making dishes to serve up to 8 people with ease. All food cooked in it so far has been cooked to perfection following guide lines and recipes. Simple to keep clean too. We will certainly get this make and model again when this one does come to the end of its life.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lekym from Better than it says on the can! Asked for this specifically as a Christmas Present. I love cooking. I had scanned the 'net and this product looked good. Good? It is great!. Now on my third cooking venture and I haven't had it for 10 days. The manual provided is so easy to follow...even tried a menu BEEF IN RED WINE - SOOOOPERB!!!!!!!!!!! I have used all 3 temp controls they work correctly. At last a real slow cooker! Must register it for the 2 year guarantee tomorrow, this review was more important, I can't see anything going wrong anyway. It almost looks too stylist to be in my kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nik106 from So Easy to Use! Prior to buying this slow cooker, I had borrowed a different brand only to burn the two meals I attempted, so I was pretty worried that this would be a waste of money. But my fears were unnecessary, we've cooked several meals over the last couple of weeks and they have been lovely! I am still working out cooking times as some meals have been s little dry, but they have all been fairly dry doshes for example we cooked a roast chicken in it. The pot is easy to clean, especially as I have now discovered it can go in the dishwasher. I will be soon buying one for a friend who is a hopeless cook as a housewarming gift. I think even he would be hard pushed to create a bad meal in this slow cooker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Little Meg from Excellent Slow cooker I was bought this slow cooker as a Christmas present and as I have never used one before was a little apprehensive. I had only heard bad reports (about other brands) from others before. I am pleased to say I love it and will definitely be buying one for my sister now, to introduce her to the world of slow cooking. The option of different settings is excellent and so easy to use and clean. I can also definitely recommend Morphy Richards after sales service too, as I had to contact them with a problem I had and they went beyond my expectations to help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Alison L from Love my Morphy Richards I waited until I reached my 50's before buying a slow cooker. Why buy one now ? My WI colleagues recently fed our membership group of 60 from slow cookers. Easy to cook, easy to transport and easy clean-up afterwards. Why did I choose the sear and stew model ? I wanted to be able to use the container on the stove top to keep all the flavours in one pan. The food container is easy to lift in and out of the main shell. It is non-stick, so easy to clean and the 6.5l is big enough to cater for larger numbers or to cook and freeze smaller batches.

I cooked beef brisket in it last weekend (to perfection) for my baby's 1st tea party. It was perfect on white crusty bread. - few of the guests are thinking of buying a Morphy Richardsnow ;) Also cooked spag bol, curry and beef stew in it this week! Brilliant!
