Rated 5 out of 5 by Elaine148 from It's brilliant! I have done stews, casseroles, pulled meats and roasted joints of meat in mine. I think it's great! So easy to use, the longer and slower you leave your meat the tender it gets. I wonder if the other reviewer didn't allow for the slowness of this cooker, depending on what you are cooking it could be between 4 and 10 hours! I put it on before work and when I come home dinner is ready, it's brilliant and you can cook virtually anything in it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by suziesue from Excellent value for money I have just recently purchased this item and am so happy with the results. I had a much smaller Morphy Richards slow cooker before and was always pleased with the results. The features of low medium and high cooking is an added bonus for me. It is light weight and you can take the inside part out for cleaning. I can do batch cooking and put this on first thing on a Saturday morning for a marvelous Saturday night meal with leftovers to freeze for during the week when at work with little time and generally having to cook quick and easy food. This way our heating habits are a lot healthier. This item is perfect for a couple and family alike. Highly recommended

Rated 5 out of 5 by hillcroft_69 from Excellent and reliable product. I bought this slow cooker a few weeks ago to replace the same model I bought approx 15 years ago. I was very pleased with my old one and I am very pleased with this one as it cooks just as well as my previous one. I had to replace the knob on the lid of the previous ( from MR spares, not very expensive). but no problems other than that. The only difference is that the new one is very slightly smaller than the old one, and the original pot, still in excellent condition, will not fit in, but it's not an issue and I can live with that. If this new one lasts as long as the old one I will be more than pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Seafordrose from Excellent and Trustworthy Product I have just brought a replacement after a good 10year+ use of the same model as mine crockpot has developed a crack, I think totally my fault! This was cheaper to buy a new one rather than a replacement crockpot. It has served me faithfully and I never have had a failure and certainly is excellent at Christmas for Mulled Wine as it certainly doesn't boil but lasts the whole time of our parties. Now I have two and will continue to use the old one until the pot is totally US but can have two on the go, especially useful when cooking the Christmas Puddings, Ham and such like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bandito from A Must Have !!!! For many years I have ignored advice and recommendations to have a slow cooker and finally gave in. Tried my Mum's firstly and made my usual beef stew whcih was every bit delicious (if not more) but without any faff or wasted time standing at the stove top. Could not believe I had not had one sooner. Have since made several meals and this is without doubt the future !! I bought this particular make and model as my Mum and some friends have the same. Not disappointed. It is a fabulous, simple to use slow cooker. Washes up nicely with no scrubbing needed.I always brown any meat first but that is pure preference as I know others don't and they still achieve a great meal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ninx from Love it! I bought mine a few years ago, never having used one before. First time I didn't quite get the hang of it and had it on for days, almost gave up on it. Then a colleague explained how to use it and it's great, I happily recommend. For instance, I prepare veg on sunday, pop ingredients in its bowl, leave in fridge overnight, plug in before I leave for work on Monday, come home to a hot, cooked meal. Always such a treat after a hard day's work and gives me more time in the evening. Would now like a divided bowl to fit it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Super Cooker - Super Value My wife had dropped the hint that we should get a slow cooker and I came across this Morphy Richards cooker when browsing the shops. I was particularly impressed with build quality, the value for money and the fact that it matched our Morphy Richards 3-tier Steamer at home. Having bought the Cooker we are equally impressed with it's performance. We are especially pleased that we can now go out for the day leaving the Cooker to welcome us home with a beautifully cooked hot meal on our return. As an added bonus this cooker is very easy to operate and particularly easy to clean. Would definitely recommend this slow cooker to anyone thinking of buying one, and can guarantee you will wonder how you ever managed without one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by bettles from Convenient Slow Cooker Having had a Morphy Richards Slow Cooker many years ago, which I passed on to my daughter, I purchased a smaller slow cooker as there are now only two of us to cook for. However, although one smaller cooker was successful, a replacement was not. The latter seemed to cook far too quickly even though on a slow setting, causing it to burn on one side of the dish. Thankfully, my new M.R. cooker is proving as good as my very first one of years back. It is perhaps larger than I need but to counteract this I cook double the quantity and freeze what is not immediately needed. Am very pleased with my purchase.
