Rated 5 out of 5 by GlugofOilBlogger from Medium Setting is a Great Feature! Easy to use and clean; no need for a dishwasher just nice hot sudsy water, then rinse and dry. The medium setting is perfect for cooking most foods but I find braising steak particularly good (when cooked in a stew) it really does melt in the mouth cooked on this setting for between 7-8 hours. I've used this slow cooker quite a bit in the past couple of weeks and I can not fault it. Although there is no 'keep warm' setting it really isn't a problem; you can either turn the cooker off and food will keep warm for 30 minutes but if you want to keep it hotter for longer then the low setting will do the trick. All in all this is a great buy and big enough for a family of four.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Suz5 from No home should be without a slow cooker Excellent piece of equipment, it cooks really well, resulting in meat being incredibly tender and vegetables soft. A cooker that should be in every household; I'm really pleased with the results. Using the slow cooker couldn't be simpler either, you can prepare the food the night before and then pop it on as you leave for work knowing you'll have a delicious meal when you get home. The cooker is just about the right size for a family of 4. The cooker has three temperature settings -medium, low or high which are very clear on the turn dial. It is also easy to clean and is well made. I would definitely recommend this slow cooker to family and friends.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lulu16 from Slow cooker trial I am new to using a slow cooker but was keen to try as they appeared to be so convenient - it was very easy to use and cooked well enough for 2 maybe 3 days if you used the left over stock for a soup - you can turn it down to low to keep warm and even heat it up again the next day if you wish to keep it in the same dish. It was easy to clean no cooked on food as you sometimes get with a stew or casserole. I feel it is a great asset and plan to take it away with me on holiday so when we get back from a days walking a meal will be ready and smelling wonderful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Agnew4 from Upgrade Having used the same slow cooker for over 20 years, I was interested to see how this shiny new one compared..... I wasn't dissapoined! Although my old one did the job, this was SO much better. Slightly bigger capacity & an oval shape, so easier to fit joints of meat etc. I particularly liked the glass lid, nice to see how its doing along the way. I also think the food was cooked better, chicken just fell apart! Beef was tastier than usual (not quite sure how!) Overall I am really pleased with my upgraded slow cooker & the old one will be relagated to the loft....incase of emergencies

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nannyann from Just right for 2 pensioners or small family!! Let's face it, when you are as old as I am you look for a name you can recognize and rely on. This is just the next of several Morphy Richards appliances I have and I would not bother to look any further as they can't be bettered for reliability and value. This is just the right size for my husband and I, I can put food in in the morning and it is ready for our evening meal with no fuss. Meat is so tender even using the cheapest of cuts and it only takes a bit of imagination to cook up something really exotic. It is really easy to clean and the overall size means it fits easily into a cupboard for storage. You can also regulate the heat so that when cooking is finished you can put it on low to keep warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Amazing product I was lucky enough to be invited to trial this product for morphy richards, i am so glad i was, this is the best slow cooker i have ever had, the bowl itself is large enough to feed 3 adults and probably more, it has a lovely addition of a medium heat setting which is great, after having it on high for an hour then reduced to medium for a few hours cooks braising steak amazingly, the beef fell apart which has never happened before, anyone looking to purchase this model i must say is 5 star quality, you wont be dissapointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by SuzyQ021 from Stylish looks, simple to use, good results I bought this to replace a slow cooker which I'd had for years. This model is a good size (4 regular sized portions) and I chose it because the non-stick pan can be used on the hob to sear the met before being placed in the base unit. This cuts down on the amount of washing up. I have tried 3 different recipes to date and each has been successful. Thank you Morphy Richards for designing a piece of kitchen equipment which looks good on the work surface, is simple to use and is competitively priced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Miffy49 from Excellent product! I have had cheap, supermarket slow cookers in the past and was impressed with the quality of this one. It is sturdy and easy to use. Its easy to clean and I like the glass lid. The medium setting is a useful addition. Long, slow cooking does give a much richer flavour to stews and it pot roasted a budget cut of beef beautifully. If I have a busy day ahead I simply prep my ingredients the night before and pop the cooker on in the morning and just leave it to get on with it! Brilliant piece of kit!
