Brushed Sear and Stew Slow Cooker
The Sear and Stew Slow Cooker allows you to sear the meat in the same pan. Searing meat in the cooking pan means that the juices from the meat combine with the rest of the ingredients creating richer fuller flavours in your dishes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by hayley5521 from Easy for beginners! My mum bought me this when i moved into my first home with my boyfriend. I'm just learning to cook so i was worried i'd struggle with this as I've never used one before. My boyfriend and i work full time on different shifts so its perfect for having meals ready for when both of us get home. I been making alot of soups and stews with this cooker but i can't wait to try lamb and the pork curry. I'm always suprised at how good this is for searing the meat, it makes the whole process alot quicker too. I think the cooking pot is just the perfect size too and the recipes that are included in the instruction manual are really handy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RuthW from Love it! I'd been thinking about buying a slow cooker for some time and when I finally got round to looking at what was available, I saw this one. I have to say I am absolutely delighted with it and am so glad I bought the one with the metal pot so I can sear the meat in it first - less washing up! I have used it three times now and am very impressed with how tender the meat is. It's also very useful being able to put the ingredients in early in the day and just let it do its own thing until we're ready to eat. All in all a fabulous product and highly recommended. It looks good too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by SusieQ7 from Clever idea! The metal cooking pot that can be put on the hob to seal and brown the food is a brilliant idea! It saves washing up a separate pan, and starts the cooking process immediately. Also, being metal it has the advantages of being unbreakable and lighter in weight to handle (important for my arthritic hands). I made a beef stew then put the cooking pot on the hob for the last few minutes to cook the dumplings - it was a great success and the dumplings turned out better than my previous attempts in a conventional slow cooker. I love the oval shape and the look of the brushed steel contrasting with the black, a modern design that would fit in any kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Elga from Fantastic slow cooker - don't be without it ! I was looking to buy a new slow cooker and saw this on the internet. I was delighted to see that it was a sear and stew slow cooker which means I can brown my meat in the same pot that I slow cook my meal in :). I was impressed by the features of the slow cooker given its fantastic price. Furthermore - what better than to have an unbreakable stock pot ! No worries about anything chipping it or cracking it. Bought the slow cooker last week and have used it numerous times already. I am so impressed by this slow cooker. I would thoroughly recommend this model. Excellent product and value for money. Well done Morphy Richards :) :) :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Susalie from Looking Good - With Excellent Results so far I bought this at the end of May and am delighted. The colour is great for my kitchen. It doesn't seem to take up as much room as my older slow cooker; it is so much lighter to handle (the main reason for an update on my old slow cooker) Have used it for goulash - using the recipe in the leaflet and have also cooked a few other things such as ratatouille. Very pleased with the results so far. Will be very careful not to scratch the non-stick interior by only using silicone kitchen products. Have not used the actual sear option yet as I am happy to prepare using my previous method using my good strong pan which goes in the dishwasher too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Linda T from Superb product! Last month I bought the red sear'n'stew 6.5litre slow cooker to replace a cracked ceramic CrockPot and I've been so impressed by it I decided to buy the 3.5litre version too. That means I've got all the convenience of being able to quickly sear the food on the hob for a speedy start to a delicious slow cooked meal without creating more washing up, for the smaller meals as well as for family gatherings. This product is brilliant, it's so lightweight and easy to handle which makes all the difference when bending to put it in the cupboard or to wash it up. It makes excellent soup, casseroles, steamed sponge puddings and far more... love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gaz1204 from Wonderful Item Purchased this following reviewing various slow cookers , was great value for money compared to others that I considered. I was drawn to the fact that I could use the pot on the hob for searing the joints first thus cutting down on dishwashing. The pot is lightweight compared to others , definitely don't use metal utensils as this will scratch the non stick coating - and it is non stick. Has been used numerous times now and struggling to work out why we didn't buy one sooner ? Getting used to the various heat settings now for cooking times , has been trial and error but the end results are delicious. I would definitely recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by alobin from Saves me time! I've wanted a slow cooker for 2 years and finally I got this one as a present. It's amazing! I can bung all my ingredients in, switch it on and it cooks me a meal. Or I can do a bit of preparation such a fry onions and chicken then bung the rest of the ingredients in and it cooks me a meal. I have two young kids and work full time so it's a great help. I just make a dish every evening and cook it overnight then I box it all up and put in freezer. The slow cooker just saves me so much time. The only negative which is not really a fault of the product is that I wish it had a timer to switch on and off. I totally recommend this product.
