Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Life Changing (OK, slight exaggeration!) Up until now I have had a conventional iron and really not enjoyed my sunday night ironing obligations. Our iron was starting to show signs it was giving up (sticking buttons etc) so I forked out for this. Ironing 10-15 shirts was a breeze and took about half the time it would normally. Its a little noisy when it needs to re-pressurise, but aside from that I have nothing but praise. I filled the tank once and there was still a fair bit left after I finished. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family

Rated 1 out of 5 by Philip from Third one to break We are now onto our third machine, it has been getting worse over the last three months, problems with the steam. Exactly the same as the other two. Tonight I switched it on and it powered up started to produce steam, something went pop and that's it, another one needing replacing. They generally last about 9/12 months, the cynical part of me says just past the year guarantee, but surely not. My advice buy something else.

Rated 4 out of 5 by whitewitch from First Steam Generator Steam Iron My husband bought this iron as he irons his own shirts, I get to do the t-shirts etc. It takes a bit of time to get used to after a normal steam iron, I think the technique is slightly different as I keep ironing creases in lol. I think I am used to a heavier iron. This one is very light, the steam output is very good, it is very good for shirts, and even on linen. The water drum is quite big so it does a a good couple of hours ironing without having to refill. One thing that I definitely notice is better than a normal iron is the cord doesn't get tangled up around the ironing board and also you generally only have to iron one side of the garment which cuts down on ironing/standing time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by padstewart from Rubbish I bought this product after reading the specs but should have read revues around the web. It is of poor construction has several faults i have found and same from other purchasers and it is now dead and it only took 17 moths and thats using filtered water. Do not buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cbg2 from title is accurate, it does what it states Bought 2 days ago, as iron was very light, no explanation on box to explain difference between normal iron, bought purely as iron was light and friend has similar system. I am so pleased I did buy this, did ironing yesterday took half the time it usually took with a quarter of the effort it normally took. My best purchase to date Love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Icebo from excellent product This is my second Morphy Richards steam generator and i wouldn'y buy any other make. The features are fantastic and easy to use and understand. The extra functions (steam boost and easy clean tank) make this one of the best on the market. All of my small home appliances are Morphy Richards - kettle, toaster etc

Rated 5 out of 5 by J123 from Amazing product with 3 steam settings I am so happy with this iron, the three steam settings are ideal for clothes that are not so creased and very creased shirts, duvets etc. I have used Morphey Richards steam generator irons since the 90's. I have tried other brands but always go back to Morphey Richards, so will not buy a different brand when I need to replace. My ironing time is so much quicker and can honestly say I love ironing with my trusted Morphey Richards steam generator and the steam elite is amazing! So happy with this purchase!!!!!
