We are delighted to announce that Morphy Richards is the official sponsor of the Foodies100.

We will be working in partnership with Foodies100 over the coming year hosting competitions, events, giveaways and much more!

To mark the start of the partnership we are working with Foodies100 and sister site Tots100 to recruit 25 brand new Innovators to expand our team of Morphy Richards bloggers.

There’s still time to get your entry blog post up to be in with the chance of becoming an official 2012 Innovator! Visit either the Tots100 or the Foodies100 to enter. Here are the details.

As a member of the team, you’ll receive new Morphy Richards products throughout the coming year to review on your blog. It’s a great opportunity to try out some new kitchen appliances, and provide your valuable honest feedback to the Morphy Richards team.

Morphy Richards will also work closely with Innovators to provide other great content on your blog, including competitions and giveaways. Reviews will be promoted via Morphy Richards’ blog, Home of the House Proud, allowing you to reach new audiences and raise the profile of your own blog.

How can you get involved?

Simple. We’re looking for Innovators who know what really goes into caring for a family, running a busy household, and who love to share their favourite tips and stories with their readers. So we’d like you to write a post on your blog showing us what you can do. To give you some inspiration, we’ve come up with three writing prompts to choose from. Feel free to interpret them in a way that works for you – we’re looking for individuality, personality and great writing.

A: Top tips for housework…

B: Domestic disasters…

C: Making family chores fun…

It’s entirely up to you what you write, but you must write your post before March 29th, and you need to leave a link to your post in the widget at the bottom of this page before 5pm on that date.

Winners will be hand picked by the Morphy Richards team and announced on the Tots100 website after the closing date.

Good luck!

Domestic disasters: We have a coffee maker here at home that we have pre-set for 6am every morning so we can get up before we have to rise our foster children. The disaster one morning the coffee maker did not heat up properly and was only slightly warm. This may not sound like a disaster to some people but without our coffee we are not worth speaking to. If we used the kettle or the microwave to heat it up the kid would wake up early and everyone know that's never good without coffee. My tip is to get out your instruction book if your still have it if not don't work on the makers website they may have top tips for you to check through. In my case i had my instruction book to hand and followed the problem shooting. After de-scaling the coffee maker it did get slightly warmer but still not as hot as it was. Then we thought we would have to take it all the way back to the shop but upon reading the box i found if i rang the manufacture who were very helpful they would send me out a replacement to my home address without any hassle or having to do loads of running around. Our disaster unfolded so we used the kettle but only one child woke up so that was a bonus if ever there was one.
